Issue Position: Good Conservative Leadership and Values

Issue Position

I once heard a very good statement from a preacher at church: "If people know what you stand for, then they will know what you are against." I understood this to mean that when a person holds firms to his beliefs and principles, and has a solid foundation based on those beliefs and principles, then that person can be depended on to act and lead in a certain way.

For this reason, I think it is important for others to know that I am a principled conservative Republican Christian man that believes in the Constitution and in equal enforcement of the law.

I believe in fiscal conservatism, and I think our government should be held accountable for every dollar it takes in. I believe the government's job is not to create opportunities and pick winners and losers in our economy; instead, I believe our government should remove restrictions and allow our economy to grow naturally. There is nothing better than the competitive American spirit when it comes to building and growing a thriving economy, and the government should be careful not to overburden the private sector with regulations.

I believe in supporting our law enforcement officials and our prosecutors that work dangerous jobs to ensure our safety. I know that safety is vital for a community that will grow and thrive. I know that our criminal justice system may not be perfect, but I still believe it to be the best in the world when it comes to getting criminals off our streets while affording rights and protections under the law to all of our citizens.

The bottom line is that a vote for me is a vote for conservative Republican principles and values. Knowing this should indicate to you as a voter what I am for, and therefore what I also am against.
